Nancy Elaine Jacobs

I'm a novelist of middle grade and young adult fiction. Writing fiction for kids is my passion, although I'm also an educator. I have a master's degree in elementary education, and was a classroom teacher for several years. I'm a former resident (twice) of the Blue Mountain Center writer's retreat, and for years a member of the Brooklyn Writer's Space, where I was given the opportunity to participate several times in their reading series. Currently, I tutor children at an after school program in East Harlem. Both my educational and literary careers involve children, including raising my own in Brooklyn.
